Return & Exchange Policy

We get it — sometimes things don’t work out. Here’s everything you need to know about returns, exchanges, and conditions.


⚠️ Final Sale Notice (Please Read)

As part of our current inventory reset, all items except Kora Long Hoodies are FINAL SALE.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Activewear
  • T-Shirts
  • Windbreakers
  • Accessories & Headwear
  • Discounted / clearance items

These items are not eligible for return or exchange.


🧭 Why Final Sale?

We’re currently simplifying Flatout and focusing on expanding our Kora Long Hoodie collection — the product that built our brand.

All non-Kora products are being cleared out and will not be restocked, which is why they’re marked as Final Sale.

✅ Eligibility (Kora Long Hoodies Only)

Returns and exchanges are only available for Kora Long Hoodies.

To qualify:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • Must be in original condition + packaging (if applicable)
  • Must be initiated within 21 days of purchase

After 21 days, we cannot process returns or exchanges.


🧾 Condition Guidelines

We hand-inspect every item. To be accepted:

  • No dryer use or excessive wrinkling
  • No stains, markings, deodorant marks, or odors (smoke, detergent, cologne, etc.)
  • No animal or human hair

Headwear (toques, hats, workout bands, masks) cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons.

If your item doesn’t meet these standards, the return will be denied.


💳 Refunds

  • Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 2–5 business days
  • Refund = item(s) price + tax – shipping costs
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, including orders with “free shipping”

If needed, we can provide your shipping invoice for clarity.


🔁 Exchanges

  • You pay to ship items back to us
  • Once approved, we cover the cost to ship the replacement item(s) back to you

Exchanges are only available for Kora Long Hoodies within 21 days.

Example:
You need another size → You ship the original back → We send the replacement free of charge.


📦 Multiple Size Orders & Restocking Fee

Ordering multiple sizes “just to try on” and sending back extras will result in a 25% restocking fee on returned items.

We’re a small, family-run business (not Amazon). Every return is inspected, steamed, and re-packaged by hand.

Tip: Use our size charts, model stats, or contact support before ordering multiple sizes.


🚫 Final Sale Items

The following are always final sale:

  • All non-Kora products
  • Items marked “Last Chance” or heavily discounted
  • Headwear (toques, hats, etc.) for hygiene reasons
  • Pre-orders (exchange only within 14 days of delivery if sizing doesn’t work)

📅 Special Windows

Black Friday (items under 25% off):
Purchases made Nov 14–30, 2025 qualify for a 30-day exchange window

Pre-orders:
Exchange only within 14 days of delivery
Orders containing pre-order items ship once all items are in stock


🚚 Shipping Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
  • For items over $75, we recommend tracked shipping and/or insurance
  • We are not responsible for lost returns

Exchange delivery times may vary depending on your location.


🇺🇸 U.S. Customers (Important)

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs back to Canada
  • Duties/tariffs must be prepaid for returns

Returns that arrive with unpaid duties will not be accepted.


Duties & Tariffs Notice

U.S. shipments (effective Aug 29, 2025) may be subject to duties and tariffs.

These charges are set by U.S. Customs and are the responsibility of the customer.
They are not included in your Flatout order total.


Refused or Returned Shipments

If a shipment is refused or returned due to unpaid duties, tariffs, or customs charges:

  • Return shipping fees and carrier costs will be deducted
  • Refunds may be reduced or not issued depending on incurred fees
